OneKU is a grassroots organization of faculty and academic staff committed to preserving high-quality public education at the University of Kansas.

The organization formed in the summer of 2020 to push the administration to prioritize public health, science, and community safety in its response to the COVID-19 pandemic. A petition effort led by OneKU garnered more than 500 signatures and was crucial to changing University policies to better align with public health best practices and fair labor standards. Since then, OneKU has continued to speak out regarding on-going issues of concern at the University of Kansas.

We stand for shared governance, faculty rights, academic freedom and the fullest possible support for research and teaching.

Together we are building a better KU.
